Origin:

West Africa (from Cameroon to the Congo)

Color:

The sapwood is gray-white, the heartwood is fresh and light, later darkening to coffee brown.

Characteristics:

Wenge is very decorative, with its coarse pores exhibiting light or dark filler. Slightly shimmering medullary rays are visible.

Application:

Wenge is a good type of construction wood for interiors and exteriors, which is also suited to framework, parquet and veneer in interior finishing.
